Welcome to Rent-It ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms.
2. Our Service
Rent-It is a marketplace that allows users to list items for rent and to rent items from other users. We are a neutral platform and are not directly involved in the transactions between users.
3. Listing Fees
To list an item on Rent-It, you must pay a subscription fee of $3.00 per item, per year. This fee is non-refundable. Listings will be automatically removed if the annual subscription is not renewed. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the items you list and the interactions you have with other users. You agree to provide accurate information in your listings and to deal with other users in good faith. Renters are responsible for returning items in the condition they were received.
5. Limitation of Liability
Rent-It is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of items, nor are we responsible for any personal injury or disputes that may arise between users. Your use of the service is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rent-It shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
6. Prohibited Content
You may not list any items that are illegal, dangerous, or otherwise violate our content policies. We reserve the right to remove any listing for any reason without notice.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page. Your continued use of the service after the changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
